The 614th meeting of the Hope Rod and Gun Club was called to order at 7:00 PM by President Tom Downs. There were 54 members present.
Secretaries Report: Secretary Miller read the March 14th (613th) meeting minutes, hearing no additions or corrections, they were approved as read.

New Members: Scott Wagner moved and Seconded to accept the following new members Fred Pinson, Dean Pahl, Joseph Lustgraaf, Paul Wojciechowski, Charles Richardson, Scott Scott, Chad Nield, C.J. Radomski, Donn Renning, Don Splinter, Weukman, Kyle Anderson, Jon Sawyer, Josh Mortenson and Jon Byrns were voted into the club as new members.
Members Director: Membership Director Jenkins reports 250 members have paid their 2016 membership. 143 pistol members and 51 unpaid members, at the end of the meeting with the new members our membership is at 278. Russ stated club member Dan Halverson donated more printing, Thank you Dan.
Building and Grounds: Spring Clean Up is scheduled for April 16th at 9am with the rain date is April 24th. There will be more wood cutting behind the berm maybe on clean-up day. Butch gave a big thank you to Tom Downs and Russ Jenkins for all of the work they are doing to the club house bathrooms and kitchen area. The baseboard heaters are for emergency use only.
Trap League: Mike Mann reported they will send out work schedules by the third week of this month. TRAP LEAGUE STARTS MAY, 2, 3, and 4.
Hunting and Fishing: Spring Turkey Contest sign up for $5.00 and fishing contest is $5.00 your participation is encouraged. Russ reminded us of new laws for 93 lakes for change of species limits for panfish.
Raffle: Mark Hanson reported the second annual raffle is officially open for business and the drawing will be at the Mark Mark Memorial chicken shoot July 23rd. Tickets are $10.00 with a bigger variety of prizes.
President Downs reported that the Sunday Trap shoot monitor scheduling will be done by Mark Birrenkot, those interested in helping out contact Mark and stop out on a Sunday for orientation.
Sunday pistol range will procedures discussion was had with regards to having a RSO in the pistol range building. Sam Adams moved and seconded by Travis Thomas that a Range Safety Officer will be in the pistol range on Sunday Public Shooting from 9am to 1pm, motion passed on a voice vote.
Tom Downs will be coordinating a RSO meeting asap and a program manager will be appointed.
Downs reported that Sgt. Of Arms Tom Athanas had submitted his resignation citing change of work schedule. An election will be held at the May meeting to replace him.
Downs reported at the board of Directors meeting that Webmaster Trevor Thomas presented information on payment of dues and fees online thru the website. A show hand in a straw poll showed a favorable response to this. Trevor will be looking into this more and website upgrades.
The Third Annual Mark Mark Memorial chicken shoot will be July 23rd 2016 stay tuned for more information.
Skeet shooting has started from 1pm to 7pm on Mondays for more information contact Tom Castree.

50/50 Winner: Mike Wagner won the 50/50 and donated the winnings to the Spartan Clay Busters.
