The 613th meeting of the Hope Rod and Gun Club was called to order at 7:03 PM by President Tom Downs. There were 57 members present.
Secretaries Report: Secretary Miller read the February 1st (612th) meeting minutes, hearing no additions or corrections, they were approved as read.

New Members: Beckie Kuipers, Brian Campbell, Tom an Mary Marre, Russell Spelbring, Jacob Sondreal, Glenn Childs, Jordon Wikel, Tyler Fleishman, Rick Cooley, Nyima Tsering, Ken Koscik, Steve Bardoche, Dylon Anderson, Steve Kenney, Nicholas Schuepbach, Art Webb, Timothy Babcock, Steve Lex, John Lottes, Doug Morrill and Mike Scwartz were voted into the club as new members.
Members Director: Membership Director Jenkins reports 247 members have paid their 2016 membership.

Building and Grounds: Spring Clean Up is scheduled for April 16th at 9am with the rain date is April 24th.
Trap League: Mike Mann reported trap shooting tam forms are tonight, new members must have their dues and shooting fees paid upfront and member’s first half dues prior to shooting. TRAP LEAGUE STARTS MAY, 2, 3, and 4.
Hunting and Fishing: Spring Turkey Contest sign up for $5.00 is available participation is encouraged.
President Downs reported the March 7th Spring Annual Banquet 127 tickets were sold. He gave a THANK YOU to all that helped organize and help the day of the banquet, with special thanks to Dick Larson and Rick Sabatke for the raffles an door prizes, Casey Curtain in the kitchen and Al wheeler an the Green Lantern for cooking the food.
A motion was made by Tom Brister and seconded by Butch Richmond to do away with the meeting night food, motion carried on a voice vote.
A motion was made by Scott Wagner and seconded by Steve Newcomer to fund the scholarship for the club to the McFarland Education Foundation for $1000.00, the motion carried on voice vote.
Treasure Birrenkott announced the he will take on the organizing and scheduling of Sunday Trap Shooting Supervisor that Lee Hutson has done since the start of the club. Many Many thank you’s to Lee for his dedication and contribution to the club, Lee will be assisting and coaching the youth shooting program. So if you are interested and available to help on Sunday mornings contact Mark Birrenkott.
Skeet shooting has started from 1pm to 7pm on Mondays for more information contact Tom Castree.
Sympathy cards were sent to the family of Lyle McCredie (and memorial), Doug Lee for the passing of his wife and Brett Brandt for the loss of his mother and now his father.
50/50 Winner: Mark Birrenkott who donated the winnings back to the Spartan Clay Busters.
